I had a crazy idea today.
My second school is out in the country. It takes me about 15 minutes to get there by bus.
How long would it take me to walk there?
That's right, WALK.
So I went out to find out.
About 45 physically-demanding, fresh-air-filled minutes. I lost count of how many hills I had to walk up and down to get there. The views, the wind, and the fresh air, however, were totally worth it.
When I got there, I saw the signs to a cafe called "Sweet Road" that I had seen every time I went to and from my school. The road to said cafe was literally beside my school, so there was no way to miss it.
I had never been there, but I was told it was a little far up the road. Well, I had walked to school, why not walk to this cafe as well?
So I did.
It took me perhaps another 15 minutes to walk up there (yes, walk up. It was on top of another hill), but I was greeted with more than a simple cafe...

Almost there, turned around and saw this. |

As I was waiting for the bus. |
I had a good hike and explored quite a bit. Sure, I could walk back, but I really didn't want to. I'd wait for the bus. I waited for about 10 - 15 minutes, but I got one home.
